Government-Funded Childcare
We are proud to take part in government-funded childcare schemes, giving eligible families access to subsidised nursery places. These schemes help make high-quality early education more affordable, ensuring children receive the support and learning opportunities they deserve during their early years.
Think2 Funding For 2-Year-Olds
We accept Think2 funding for eligible 2-year-olds, providing 15 funded hours per week.
This can be taken as:

15 hours per term-time week, or
-
11 hours per week stretched across 51 weeks
To claim this funding, you must provide an eligibility code issued by Staffordshire County Council. We can guide you through the process and provide further information on the criteria and application.
Funding For 9-Month, 2, 3 And 4-Year-Olds
We offer both 15 and 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible children aged 9 months and 2, 3 and 4 years.
Funding can be taken as:

15 or 30 hours per term-time week, or
-
11 or 22 hours per week stretched across 51 weeks
To access 30 hours of funding, you will need to provide a valid eligibility code issued by HMRC.
All parents claiming funded hours are required to complete a Parental Declaration Form, which will be provided by the nursery.
Additional Non-Funded Days
Any additional non-funded days include all meals, refreshments, and activities, with no added essential charges.
Funded Day Essentials Fee
Funded places are available Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.
An essentials fee applies to funded days only. This covers:

Nutritious, freshly prepared meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks)

Consumables such as wipes, tissues and sun cream
-
Enriching activities, special events and celebrations throughout the year
This ensures we continue to provide a rich, engaging, and well-resourced environment for every child.
Essentials Fee Breakdown
​How our fees are calculated for funded places:
For example, if a child attends 3 days per week on 30 hours of stretched funding:
30 hours × 38 weeks ÷ 51 weeks = 22.35 funded hours per week.
In this case:

2 days would be fully funded

Day 3 would require a partial payment of £46.00 per week

Essentials Fee for 2 funded days = £20.00 per week
